HTM Career Day provides students with the opportunity to meet and network with over 50 companies within the Hospitality Industry.

Full Description:
WHY GO TO HTM CAREER DAY?

Opportunities Include:

* A chance to network with recruiters and managers from various areas of the hospitality industry
* A chance to learn about Employment Opportunities: full time jobs, internships, externships, and summer jobs
* Information sessions
* Volunteer positions to get involved in the department
* Workshops to better prepare you for the fair and other job opportunities

IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE

Doesn't matter if you're a Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior, EVERYONE can benefit from Career Day!

* YOU should look over the list of attending companies and organize a personal list of employers you wish to speak with.
* It is up to YOU, the student, to research and become familiar with the participating companies.
* Remember, YOU are looking to impress the recruiters. Do not show up unprepared!
* Put yourself out there! Recruiters like to see confidence!
* Consider being a volunteer! The recruiters will notice those who are involved.


PLEASE NOTE THERE WILL BE STRICT ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS ON CAREER DAY

- "Business Professional" attire. Dark colored suits are recommended.
- Resumes must be printed on professional resume paper

* If any of these requirements are not met you will be turned away at the door. REMEMBER you not only represent yourself but also the entire HTM Department and UMass Amherst. Present your most prepared and professional self
